Welcome to Yorkshire Folk Dance Weekend.

Also known as 'Drax Dance Weekend'. A small and friendly annual folk dance weekend aimed at experienced dancers.
The event is held on the weekend of the first Friday in July in the neighbouring villages of Drax and Snaith in North Yorkshire. It runs from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
Friday evening and Saturday are at Drax Social Club and Sunday is at Snaith School. There is an equal split between English country dance and American contras/squares with events alternating between the two genres.

Our next event features callers Lynne Render and Liam Binley with music from our resident band FPD (Fran, Philip & Dave).
